My first time to learn mathematics,
It was somehow problematic.
We’ve been caned to learn mathematics
Sometimes, it feels a bit stigmatic
I tried to learn and master mathematics
It is not easy but very pragmatic,
We have so many professors of mathematics.
I’ve learnt mathematics is systematic.
So take cautions when learning mathematics
Its sometimes tough and very traumatic
But I’d never give up learning mathematics
Because the math thing is automatic 

ON WEEK DAYS

I go to school on all week days
My dad is busy on all week days
I am always busy on Saturdays
And free after church on Sundays
School is very hot on Mondays
And we worship on Wednesdays
School is full of funs on Fridays
And its very serious on Tuesdays
What do you do on week days?
Many people feel tired on Thursdays
And pray Fridays be declared holidays
Always utilize your timeless week days

MY BEST TEACHER

Mr. Caner is my best teacher
He can cane than any teacher
He is not a lazy class teacher
Mr. Caner is a great preacher
He promises his pupils great future
And he is a teacher of feature
I even have his portrait or picture
He loves whipping odd pupils
And he hate misbehaving pupils
To be among his chosen pupils,
You must be far from all odd pupils
My best teacher love his pupils

IN THE MORNING

When I wake up in the morning,
And I see the sun shining bright,
I feels very good to be alive.
When its hot in the afternoon,
And the sun keep shining bright,
I feels like swimming in a river
When the daylight fades in the evening,
And the sun cease to shine bright,
I feels like taking a peaceful sleep
In the morning, I feels so good alive
In the afternoon, I feels like swimming
And in the evening, I feels like sleeping.

GENERAL MOSQUITO

There is a disease called malaria
It is caused by a slender biting fly
That hides around stagnant waters

Malaria is a world killer disease
That is ceasing the lives of many.

General Mosquito is his agent
So lets clear are surroundings
By weeding the grown bushes
Getting rid of stagnant waters
And clearing chocked gutters
This is the only way we can
We can keep General Mosquito away

STORY TIME

Hello my brothers and sisters
The time is 5:30pm in the village
My grandma said I should inform you all
About the continuation of the story
She said, tell them it’s story time
So they should come and listen to rhymes
The tails of the ancient memories
The stories full of motivation
The songs of joy and happiness
And the poems for the little children
So here I come saying it very loud
The time is 5:30pm in the village
And everyone is gathered at the village square
To listen to the tails of ancient memories

BREAD AND BUTTER

My mother gives me bread and butter
Every morning at the dining table.
She adds it to my milky tea
Tea of Milo, sugar, milk and hot water

My father takes the same tea
My brothers and sisters love it
I love this milky tea so much
But I love it most with the something
Guest what? It’s my bread and butter
Bread and butter is my rich food
Especially if the bread is a wheat bread
